⚖️ Lien Law Deadlines

Preliminary Notice: Required for residential projects (subcontractors)

Filing Deadline: Within 3 months (residential) or 4 months (commercial) of last furnishing

Foreclosure Period: Within 1 year of filing lien (residential) or 2 years (commercial)

💰 Tax Information

Sales Tax Rate: 6.25% state + local rates (up to 8.25%)

Contractor Tax Notes: Materials taxable; labor for new construction exempt
